About the Role

As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our customers and colleagues. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of pharmacists, providing top-notch services to customers, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and Private services to customers
  • Play an active role in our charities support program, providing advice and support to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues
  • Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Degree
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
  • DBS check (organised by us) before employment
