Job Title: Hygiene Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Technician to join our team at Veetee. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our factory site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the hygiene team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Identify and report any hygiene-related issues or concerns to the team leader.
  • Ensure all chemical containers are properly labelled, locked, and secured at all times.
  • Follow all hygiene, food safety, quality, and health and safety procedures.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and maintenance tasks to achieve a "right first time" standard.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and wash down machines during scheduled shutdown periods.
  • Manual handling of goods up to 25kg.
  • Other duties as reasonably required by the role.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work quickly, methodically, and under pressure.
  • Comfortable working in a hot environment, confined space, on heights, and with pest control.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliable and flexible.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
