We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our team at Bricklehurst Manor School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and academic success of our pupils with SEMH and associated needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Headteacher and therapy team to develop and implement the school's SEND policy and provision.
- Act as Designated Teacher for looked-after previously looked-after students and ensure statutory compliance for working with Looked After Children (LAC).
- Provide professional guidance to colleagues and liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure pupils with SEN and looked-after pupils receive appropriate support and high-quality teaching.
- Advise on the graduated approach to providing SEN support and differentiated teaching methods.
- Ensure the school meets its responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 with regard to reasonable adjustments and access arrangements.

Bricklehurst Manor School is a brand-new school catering for up to 60 pupils with SEMH and associated needs ages 11-16. We are part of Acorn Education and offer a supportive and inclusive environment for our staff and pupils.
