About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically-minded SEO Manager to join our team at JV Recruitment Ltd. As an SEO Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving positive change to support the growth of our brand through the SEO channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for target key terms and on-page optimisation.
  • On-Page Optimisation: Optimise on-page content, including meta data, landing page copy, and work with wider teams to advise on best practice.
  • Digital PR Campaigns: Work with the SEO agency to execute digital PR campaigns and ensure backlinks are clean and valuable.
  • Technical Optimisations: Work with the IT team to deliver technical optimisations that are Google and customer-friendly.
  • Website Migrations: Work closely with the IT teams to deliver complex website migrations, ensuring that SEO best practices are adhered to to preserve organic search performance.
  • Keyword Strategy: Work closely with the PPC team to create an aligned keyword strategy and work to reduce costs.
  • SEO Education: Educate internal teams to ensure they understand how SEO contributes to business performance, how their roles and tasks can impact SEO performance, and that they are aligned to SEO goals and objectives.
  • SEO Best Practices: Champion SEO best practices, recommend changes to website architecture, content, internal linking, and other factors to improve SEO performance.
  • Agency Management: Manage agencies, third-party suppliers, including tool providers and client success teams.
  • Google Algorithm Updates: Stay up-to-date with Google algorithm updates, monitor impact, and overcome any challenges that they present.
About You
  • Proven experience of working in digital marketing in an SEO role for 5+ years.
  • Strong technical SEO understanding, including knowledge of crawlability and indexability.
  • Experience working on complex website migrations and necessary requirements to protect SEO performance.
  • Experience of working with and managing a digital media partner.
  • Understanding of on-site customer journey and website development and the relationship between them and SEO.
  • Experience using Excel and web analytics tools.
  • Experience using SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Sistrix.
  • Experience reporting on core SEO metrics and performance to stakeholders and management.
