About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Geriatrician to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Acute Geriatric service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Geriatric Medicine
  • Develop and implement effective care plans for patients with complex needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development of our service through quality improvement initiatives and research
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Higher Degree (MD /PhD or equivalent) in Geriatric Medicine
  • Geriatric Medicine experience within the NHS
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and other healthcare professionals
