Transforming Security Operations at PPRO

We are seeking a seasoned Security Operations Center Lead to drive the transformation of our security operations at PPRO. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing a comprehensive SOC transformation strategy that aligns with industry best practices and evolving regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of a cloud-native SOC transformation strategy, ensuring seamless integration with our existing security operations framework.
  • Oversee the strategic integration of endpoint security, access control, and data leakage prevention into our security operations framework, ensuring effective management and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Own and manage the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center, ensuring effective threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Develop and implement a long-term security operations strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals, providing thought leadership on emerging security trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Design and build a SOC operating model that meets the needs of the business, evaluating options for outsourcing, insourcing, or a hybrid approach, and implementing the chosen model effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Digital Workplace, Engineering, Developer Enablement, Compliance, and Legal, to ensure a cohesive approach to security.
Requirements:
  • Results-oriented, highly collaborative, pragmatic, and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proven track record in transforming and scaling cloud-native SOC capabilities in a FinTech or similarly regulated industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with security technologies, SIEM, EDR, SOAR, firewalls, alert optimization, AWS, GCP, IDS/IPS, EDR, access management, data leakage prevention, and threat intelligence management.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Terraform).
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for developing and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
