Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor
We are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our esteemed team at Vistry Group PLC. This role will involve working closely with our dedicated professionals to support the commercial management of residential development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the financial oversight of residential development initiatives from the initial procurement phase through to the finalization of sub-contract accounts.
- Collaborate with the Surveying department to ensure effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage in site pre-start meetings to familiarize yourself with construction issue drawings alongside senior team members.
- Support the preparation of tender packages for various sub-contract trades.
- Facilitate the issuance of sub-contract orders in alignment with company policies and best practices.
- Monitor and report on post-contract cost variations to provide essential updates to the Commercial Manager.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices and payment applications in accordance with contractual terms.
- Maintain accurate project administration records, including orders, variations, and valuations.
- Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts for sub-contractors.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and adhere to health and safety policies.
