Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Operator to join our dynamic team at Branston Ltd, a leading company in the protein production industry. As a key member of our Protein Extraction Team, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of our small-scale plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and store production stock using Forklift Trucks (FLTs) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct rigorous quality checks on raw materials and protein products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Record stock and consumable usage meticulously on relevant logs to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Operate equipment efficiently to meet production standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Use FLTs to maintain product availability on the production line and ensure smooth production processes.
  • Apply technical skills to set Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to correct settings for optimum equipment performance.
  • Execute full hygiene of equipment and the factory area, including assistance during membrane cleans/removal, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with operating procedures in line with Health & Safety and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Production Lead to maintain standard operating procedures and improve production efficiency.
  • Support the lab/technical team with sample collection and provide assistance as needed.
  • Escalate key issues to management for immediate resolution and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
