IT Risk Assurance and Remediation Analyst

Vertex IT Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Risk Assurance and Remediation Analyst to join their team in the City of London.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Risk control and Risk management environments, with a proven track record of implementing or monitoring 1st Line of defence control frameworks.
Responsibilities:- Provide testing and assurance on existing IT risk controls in line with regulations and internal requirements across all IT Teams.
- Report and action on weaknesses relating to controls and suggest improvements while identifying the impact on the business.
- Assist to develop appropriate KCI / KRI information against the IT control environment for promote effective monitoring.
- Partner the business to develop new and enhance existing tools and reporting to demonstrate controls oversight within the 1st Line of Defence.
- Ensure alignment to internal audit methodology, approach and planning requirements towards an effective control framework.
- Multi-year experience in a Risk control, Risk management environment.
- Thorough understanding of IT Risk control mechanisms.
- Track record of implementing or monitoring 1st Line of defence control frameworks in fast-paced financial technology teams.
