Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lecturer to join our team at The University of Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing supervision, teaching, and other input into our Clinical Psychology Doctorate (ClinPsyD) programme, with a particular focus on enhancing our students' Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) skills development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly clinical supervision to students on the ClinPsyD programme
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the CBT clinic
  • Teach CBT skills to students on the ClinPsyD programme
  • Supervise ClinPsyD research projects as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Expertise in CBT
  • Professional accreditation as a CBT practitioner with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
  • Possession of BABCP accreditation as a CBT supervisor (preferred)
