Production Operator

JRM Products Limited is a family-owned enterprise established in 1992, located in Haddington, East Lothian. The company specializes in providing tailored services to the brewing sector. Initially formed as a division of a prominent brewery in Edinburgh, JRM Products has evolved to efficiently develop and process hop products into iso-alpha acids, which are packaged for use in the beer brewing process. Furthermore, the company transforms these iso-alpha acids into additional downstream products utilized in brewing, distributing them globally for beer production.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Production Operator to fulfill various responsibilities within our operations. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet the daily production, packaging, and logistics requirements;
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain the expected standards;
  • Follow quality system procedures and maintain accurate production and packaging documentation;
  • Oversee the upkeep of facility and packaging machinery;
  • Ensure that production, packaging, and storage areas are kept clean and compliant with hygiene standards;
  • Interact with external stakeholders in a courteous, efficient, and supportive manner.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess strong practical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to product safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehousing setting (preferred)
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
  • Motivated and driven
  • Respectful and professional

  • Willingness to acquire new skills

Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.

What We Offer:

This position requires a commitment of 5 days per week within the production unit at JRM Products Limited. Standard working hours are 8am to 5pm (with some flexibility). The annual salary for this position is £28,000.00, with opportunities for progressive salary increases.
