Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer (Control & Instrumentation) to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Control and Instrumentation Team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions that make the UK Royal Navy Submarines truly world class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake functioning design, providing specialist advice, and producing evidence in support of legislative, safety and technical requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers as part of the technical team.
  • Articulate and present technical arguments, clearly, logically, and simply.
  • Coordinate and execute engineering tasks or packages of work, providing guidance and advice in a consistent professional manner.
  • Take notice of appropriate budget, timescale, and quality standards as well as provide leadership when required.

Requirements:

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background.
  • Experience in PLC and SCADA Programming, C&I systems verification test design or parts specification would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle and technical specialities.
  • Working towards relevant Professional Registration.
