Job Title: Clinical Systems Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Systems Manager to lead our clinical systems within Radiology at East Cheshire NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of the computer systems and peripheral hardware in radiology, coordinating with department heads, service providers, suppliers, and the Trust's IT department to ensure the systems are used efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Trust's RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving Communications System) systems.
  • Coordinate with department heads, service providers, suppliers, and the Trust's IT department to ensure the systems are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage the daily operation of the computer systems and peripheral hardware in radiology.
Requirements:
  • Post graduate level qualification or equivalent experience in an NHS organisation.
  • HCPC (Health and Care Professional Council) registration.
  • BSc (Bachelor of Sciences) Radiography or equivalent in a relevant related subject area.
Key Skills:
  • Experience working with NHS computer systems.
  • In-depth specialist knowledge of the Trust's computer systems and Radiology software systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to input and manipulate data and information from the system databases to a high level of expertise.
  • Ability to accurately work under pressure and to tight time scales.
