UK Sales Director Job Description

Scout Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our UK sales team and drive revenue growth in the Audio Visual industry.

About the Role:

The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, leading and managing a dynamic sales team, and expanding market presence in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Drive sales growth across all product and service lines, meeting or exceeding sales targets in terms of revenue and profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and setting clear objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, channels, and partnerships.
  • Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with company-wide goals and enhance overall customer experience.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the IT sector.
  • Manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales leadership experience, preferably within the AV, Fitout, Collaboration, or IT Services industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading and motivating sales teams.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, team members, and executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in sales forecasting and CRM tools.
  • A deep understanding of customer needs within the IT industry and the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and exceed sales targets.
