About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mortgage Team Leader to join our team at Skipton Building Society. As a key member of our Mortgage Advice Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Mortgage Advisers, Mortgage Support Consultants, and Direct Lending Consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of mortgage professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive efficiency and productivity within the team.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless customer journeys and maximize mortgage volumes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and development within the team and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £43,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including annual discretionary bonus scheme, 25 days standard annual leave, and a commitment to training and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:Leadership experience and some mortgage knowledge.Ability to work within defined service levels and offer high standards of customer service.Enthusiasm and a positive mindset, with a willingness to adapt to change and challenge.CF1 and CF6 or equivalent certification in mortgage advice.
