About the Role

As an Architect/Architectural Assistant, you will be working within the Industrial sector, where you will be responsible for designing buildings and structures, meeting with clients to understand their needs, and developing project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Buildings: Create detailed plans and designs for buildings and structures, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide expert advice on design and construction.
  • Project Planning: Develop project timelines, budgets, and specifications, working closely with engineers, contractors, and other professionals.
  • Technical Drawings: Produce technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaboration: Work with a team of professionals to bring designs to life, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Site Visits: Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Experience within the industrial sector, with a strong understanding of building design and construction.
  • Client-facing experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge, with proficiency in CAD software and building regulations.
  • All/most RIBA stages experience, with a solid understanding of project planning and management.
  • AutoCAD and/or Revit expertise, with the ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
