Job Summary

Aeropeople Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our Platform Nuclear Engineering Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing interface requirements and Verification & Validation evidence between the submarine platform and the Nuclear Steam Raising Plant.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement design substantiation reports and ALARP statements in line with the Nuclear Safety Case.
  2. Support the integration of Nuclear Steam Raising Plant requirements with shipyard build, test & commissioning processes.
  3. Collaborate with the Nuclear Steam Raising Plant Technical Authority and the Submarine Delivery Agency to support design maturity development, integration and decision making.
  4. Undertake peer reviews / checking of design deliverables to ensure integration of nuclear interface requirements.

Requirements
  1. Experience in engineering design with a speciality in Nuclear Engineering.
  2. Strong communication skills and experience of working in collaborative project teams.

Desirable
  • Previous experience in Testing and commissioning.
  • Operational experience.
