Job Title: Principal CFD Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal CFD Engineer to join our Internal Flow and Hazards team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for undertaking technical work on all aspects of CFD simulations, including pre-processing, model development, analysis, post-processing, and technical reporting. You will also support team meetings, provide technical support, and contribute to project management and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake technical work on CFD simulations, including pre-processing, model development, analysis, and post-processing.
• Support team meetings and provide technical support.
• Contribute to project management and business development.
• Technically review work and develop processes and methods.
• Participate in CFD toolset research and development activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in a highly regulated/high hazard industry.
• Proficient using at least one CFD software package, such as Ansys Fluent or StarCCM+.
