Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

TalentTide is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Falmouth. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our site, including maintenance, repairs, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee site maintenance, ensuring all facilities are in top condition.
  2. Project Management: Lead key projects, from installation to ongoing maintenance of site equipment and infrastructure.
  3. Regular Inspections: Conduct regular site checks to identify and resolve any issues before they become major problems.
  4. Hands-On Tasks: Perform a variety of tasks, including plumbing, minor electrical works, and general building repairs.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Previous experience in building services and facilities management is essential.
  2. Licences: A full UK driver's licence and a Forklift licence are essential. Training for working at heights and using MEWP or Cherry Picker machinery is desirable.
  3. Qualifications: Knowledge of facilities regulations and building codes is essential, while IOSH or NEBOSH certificates would be a plus.

What We Offer:

  1. Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per year
  2. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:45 to 15:15, giving you your afternoons and weekends free to enjoy the beautiful Cornish coast.
  3. Pension: High company contribution, increasing after 5 years of service.
  4. Private Healthcare: Available after 2 years of service.
  5. Holiday: 21 days plus 4 extra days over Christmas and 8 bank holidays, giving you plenty of time to relax and unwind.
