Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Land Manager to join our team at TDM Recruitment. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring land for development in the south east region.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and entrepreneurial company that is expanding its team and looking to appoint a Land Manager who can drive growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of buying sites in Kent, Surrey, and South London, and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the planning application and appeals process.

As a Land Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing off-market land for purchase in key areas
  • Managing and updating the letter-writing process to effectively target areas
  • Liaising and negotiating with landowners and agents of potential purchases
  • Overseeing legal, planning, and design consultants pre and post-acquisition
  • Keeping up to date with town planning policy and specifically in key areas you are targeting for letter writing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site acquisition and procurement
  • Landowner and agent liaison
  • Legal and planning consultancy management
  • Town planning policy research

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a property-related field
  • Proven track record of sourcing and acquiring land in Kent, Surrey, and South London
  • Strong understanding of the planning application and appeals process
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently from the rest of the team
  • Determined, hungry, and ambitious
