Examiner - GCSE English Literature Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced examiner to join our team in marking GCSE English Literature papers. As an examiner, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of marking, while adhering to the conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with us and contribute to the assessment of GCSE English Literature. You will have the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and possess a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
Responsibilities- Mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
- Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
- Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
- Ensure all administration is completed as specified
- You will have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification and subject, since qualifying as a teacher
- You will have a degree or equivalent
- You will be a qualified teacher
