Examiner - International GCSE English Language and Literature

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Examiner to join our team in marking International GCSE English Language and Literature papers.
About the RoleAs an Examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of tasks, including:
- Marking candidates' responses accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
- Submitting samples to your Team Leader at designated times
- Ensuring milestones for marking are adhered to
- Completing all administration as specified
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification subject, and since qualifying as a teacher
- A degree or equivalent
- Qualification as a teacher

- A high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme
