Senior Planner / Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner or Associate to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, including energy and infrastructure developments, and providing expert advice to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement effective planning strategies, taking into account policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver projects, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform planning decisions, identifying opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, reports, and other documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • RTPI or IEMA qualification, with relevant experience in planning for energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of UK town planning and governmental systems, including infrastructure consenting regimes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.
  • Basic skills in GIS, with the ability to analyze and interpret spatial data.
