About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pump rental business unit to deliver high-quality financial reporting and insights to our Executive and Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities- Create and develop reports using PowerBI and other tools to provide key customer and branch information to the wider business unit.
- Report on current and future performance, growth, and productivity based KPIs to various stakeholders and advise accordingly to support commercial decision making.
- Build partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers to aid collaboration to achieve business growth ambitions.
- Support and mentor the Asset Management accountant to develop the reporting process.
- Produce business cases for further investment, including property, people, and product, to ensure we are investing in the right products at the right time.
- Challenge current ways of working and look to drive efficiencies wherever possible and continuously improve working standards.
- Previous demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Partner/Advisor, or Financial Analyst role.
- Qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ICAW/ACA qualifications.
- A strong interest in using IT & Systems to analyze and manipulate data, with experience of Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, or a similar tool.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to undertake a range of financial and business modeling tasks.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience in using initiative to resolve issues and queries, with the ability to act proactively and be forward-thinking while maintaining a methodical and attention-to-detail approach.
- A driving license would be advantageous, as there is an opportunity to visit different branches across the UK.
