Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist–

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities across all levels
  • Willingness to work shifts and additional hours as necessary
  • Proven experience in a heavy industrial setting
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with CNC lathes and machining centers is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Siemens 840C / 840D control systems and 611 drives
  • Providing electrical and mechanical breakdown support
  • Conducting electrical fault diagnosis and repairs on production machinery
  • Assisting mechanical fitters with breakdowns and repair tasks
  • Competence in PLC fault diagnosis
  • Identifying and spearheading process improvements
  • Executing preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with PPM schedules
  • Fault identification and documentation on CMMS systems
  • Ensuring plant and equipment are maintained to high standards
  • Performing electrical installation work adhering to current wiring regulations
  • Overseeing maintenance of building electrical services and office infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • City & Guilds 17th / 18th Edition certification
  • Proficient IT skills – experience with CMMS is a plus, but training will be provided
Compensation:
Shift patterns include 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 6am
Salary range: £40K to £44K
Candidates must successfully complete a drugs and alcohol screening prior to commencement.
