We are seeking a qualified Nurture Teacher to join our team at an SEN school in the Hillingdon area. This is a full-time temporary position, with the possibility of being made permanent if successful.
The Role:
- As a Nurture Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects and skills to KS3 students, providing a broad and effective curriculum that prepares them for their next stage of education.
- You will contribute to the development of a 'Nurture' style approach for KS3 students under the direction of the Principal and the SENCo.
- A Nurture Teacher acts as a form tutor, establishing good relationships with families to promote students' learning and development.
- You will consistently and accurately assess students' progress and achievement, especially in English, Maths, Science, and PSHE.
- Ensure that resources and the classroom environment are organised and readily available to promote learning.
Requirements:
- To be considered for this role, you must have a Qualified Teacher status and relevant experience in teaching KS3 students.
- You should have a strong understanding of the 'Nurture' style approach and be able to contribute to its development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
