Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Play Worker to become an integral part of our Family Hubs Team.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a secure, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere for all children.

• Assisting in the design and implementation of diverse and stimulating play activities tailored to the age, developmental stage, abilities, and cultural backgrounds of the children.

• Monitoring, evaluating, and documenting individual developmental progress: planning subsequent steps and/or providing appropriate referrals. Ensuring that records are maintained accurately and shared with families.

Required Qualifications:

• An NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification

• Proven experience working with children aged 0 to 8 years in a relevant environment or similar setting.

• Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding protocols

• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage

• Competence in maintaining accurate records
