Job Title: Play Worker - Childcare Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Play Worker to join our Family Hubs Team. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe, warm, and stimulating environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Developing and delivering play activities that cater to children's age, stage, and cultural background.
- Observing and assessing children's developmental milestones, planning next steps, and sharing records with families.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
- Experience working with children aged 0-8 in a relevant environment.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Experience in record-keeping.
