Troubleshoot post-processor issues, including program editing and planning manufacturing methods. Design toolpaths, prepare models, and drive continuous enhancements in CAM and CNC processes. Provide expert advice on tooling best practices, fixture design, and machining strategies. Support estimations and sales teams with accurate CAM programming methods, machine setups, and job-specific tooling costs. Ensure the availability of necessary tooling and consumables throughout the production cycle. Offer guidance on design modifications to improve manufacturability. Mentor the production team on best practices and process optimization. Review program execution to identify areas for product and process improvement. Address and resolve post-processor challenges, including program adjustments and manufacturing planning. Generate toolpath designs and facilitate continuous improvements in CAM and CNC operations. Advise on best practices for tooling, fixture design, and machining strategies. Assist estimations and sales teams with precise CAM programming methods, machine setups, and tooling costs. Ensure the correct tooling is available for each task and manage the ordering of necessary consumables during production.

Required Experience:

Proven experience in developing CAM programs, with a focus on process and procedural enhancements. Experience in New Product Introduction and industrialization. Ability to create and influence cross-functional teams. Knowledge as a CNC machinist and programmer, particularly in 3 and 5 axis programming. Development of supporting documentation to assist the production team in delivering made-to-print products. A mindset focused on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) with the capability to recommend design changes that facilitate component manufacturing.
