Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Technician to join our maintenance team at our Nuneaton warehouse. As a Junior Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electro-mechanical systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reactively respond to equipment failures and proactively undertake maintenance on equipment in the distribution centre.
  • Develop your knowledge and seek support from technicians and shift managers.
  • Identify and carry out additional improvement projects.
  • Assist in the installation and trials of new equipment.
  • Recognise gaps in your knowledge and seek development and training.
  • Ensure the workplace is safe and tidy.

Requirements:

  • Experience with MHE equipment, electro-mechanical systems, and detection equipment.
  • Desire to work towards specific qualifications.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment activities.
  • General knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Good general health and no restrictions on mobility.
  • Experience working alone and using your own initiative to make decisions.
  • Experience working within a team.
  • Flexibility to achieve tasks within deadlines.
