Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technician to join our maintenance team at our Nuneaton warehouse. As a Junior Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution centre by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with the team to achieve zero downtime and 100% customer order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve zero downtime and 100% customer order fulfillment.
- Assist in the installation and trials of new equipment.
- Recognize gaps in your own knowledge and seek development and training to improve your skills and expertise.
- Ensure the workplace is safe and tidy, and adhere to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Experience working with electro-mechanical systems and MHE equipment.
- Knowledge of risk assessment activities and general knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Good general health and no restrictions on mobility.
- Experience working alone and using your own initiative to make decisions.
- Experience working within a team.
- Flexibility to achieve tasks within deadlines.
