We are seeking a highly skilled Bank Director to join our team at Lowell Financial Ltd.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for governing the end-to-end bank reconciliation process for their designated region within the Group. This will involve managing a team of Bank Reconciliation Assistants, reviewing bank reconciliations, and liaising with other teams across finance to ensure end-to-end bank processes are appropriate and integrated.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Admin/own/office/collection accounts bank reconciliation process for the assigned region within the Group.
- Support end-to-end process improvement by working with other Bank Reconciliation Managers, Head of Bank Reconciliation External Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Record to Report, and other relevant teams to ensure processes are appropriate and effective.
- Support the Head of Bank Reconciliation in providing a robust and industry-leading reconciliation and control environment, ensuring timely follow-up and remediation work is applied where necessary.
- Take responsibility for completing the more complex bank reconciliations as defined/agreed with the Head of Bank Reconciliation.
- Provide support to internal, external, and client audits, ensuring robust audit trails and evidence are maintained.
- Monitor and report KPIs & SLAs, creating monthly dashboards and providing management information as required.
- Previous reconciliation experience is essential.
- Previous Oracle/ERP experience is desirable.
- An ability to interrogate/analyse large data sets.
- Identify risks, ensuring a 'no surprise' approach is adopted, ensuring issues are highlighted/escalated in a timely manner.
