Deputy Catering Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Catering Manager to join our client's team at a leading independent boarding school in East Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 25 staff, ensuring training, development, and operational standards are met. This will involve working closely with the catering team to deliver high-quality services across breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

As Deputy Catering Manager, you will also be involved in school events and activities, working closely with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders. A strong background in events and hospitality is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Deputy Catering Manager or similar role
  • Background in education catering
  • High-volume experience
  • Strong events and hospitality skills
  • Current DBS
  • Ability to work weekends on a rotational basis
