Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Powered Access Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a key member of our technical recruitment agency, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining powered access equipment and vehicle-mounted access in a workshop-based role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance and servicing on cherry pickers, scissors lifts, and vehicle-mounted access equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  2. Workshop Operations: Adhere to workshop health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  3. Record Keeping: Keep accurate and up-to-date service and maintenance records for all equipment.
  4. Repair Coordination: Coordinate repairs and maintenance work with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
  5. Workshop Leadership: Demonstrate expertise and leadership skills to run a manufacturer's workshop efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 3 years' experience in a similar role with a strong background in powered access equipment maintenance.
  2. Certifications: IPAF CAP training and NVQ Level 2 in Engineering/Plant Maintenance are desirable.
  3. Licenses: A valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
  4. IPAF Ticket: Possession of an IPAF ticket is required.
Benefits
  1. Salary: £35,000-£50,000 per annum.
  2. Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:30.
  3. Company Vehicle: A company vehicle will be provided for work-related purposes.
  4. Overtime: Opportunities for overtime at competitive rates.
  5. Holidays: 33 days' holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
  6. Pension: A comprehensive pension scheme is available.
