Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist to join our team at SRG. As a Senior Scientist - Pharmacovigilance Specialist, you will be responsible for driving and leading projects for external customers, aiding in the design of experiments, running complex in vitro organ-on-chip applications, performing assays, and reporting the results to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Utilise OOC applications and protocols to deliver high-quality projects to external customers.
  2. Experimentation and Analysis: Rigorous analysis and interpretation of experiments and presentation of data in numerous formats.
  3. Inventory Management: Maintain laboratory stocks and inventory management systems.
  4. Communication: Communicate progress, successes, and challenges with the R&D team, commercial team, and wider company when required.
  5. Customer Liaison: Be the primary contact for customers during projects to update them on progress, present data, and collaborate to design the best experiments to suit their needs.
  6. Team Leadership: Support and mentor junior team members and aid in the training of new team members, with line management responsibilities as the project grows.
Requirements:
  1. Education: PhD (or Equivalent) in biology, bioengineering, or a related subject with experience working in a regulated environment.
  2. Experience: Experience mentoring, training, and supporting other team members, as well as experience on customer-facing projects and liaising with external stakeholders.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Experience of working in life sciences (Biotech, Pharma, Contract Research) with an understanding of working in a regulated environment.
  4. Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools and managing project timelines and resources.
