Senior Scientist II Analytical Team

Science Solutions Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Scientist II to join our client's Analytical Team in Bedfordshire. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, responsible for driving research and development (R&D), quality control (QC), and analytical method development activities.

To be considered for this Senior Analytical Scientist position, you will have a strong technical background, problem-solving ability, and experience in method validation, with an emphasis on biotechnology analytical assay development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Method Development and Validation: Lead the development and validation of analytical methods, with a primary focus on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and ideally, experience with affinity measurement systems such as Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) or Biolayer Interferometry (BLI).
  2. Product Support: Support product development through QC testing and preparing necessary documentation, including Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Validation Protocols.
  3. Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple internal and external projects, ensuring alignment with analytical priorities and timelines.
  4. Data Analysis and Presentation: Regularly prepare and present technical reports.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary technical teams to drive progress on various analytical projects.

Requirements:

  1. You will be degree educated in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or a related field.
  2. Familiarity with working under ISO9001, ISO13485, or similar quality standards.
  3. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
