We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their skills in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Behaviour Disorders.

The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional support due to challenging behaviour, mental health difficulties, and learning disabilities such as Autism. As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing input into a child's education, acting as a positive role model to encourage children to reach their full potential academically, emotionally, and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with challenging behaviour and special needs in a 1:1 setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional and social support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Behaviour Disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
