Financial Controller Opportunity

Axon Moore Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and be able to hit the ground running with the technical running of the finance function.

About the Role

The Financial Controller will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the Managing Director and the rest of the team. This will include managing the finance function, preparing financial reports, and providing analysis and insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Provide analysis and insights to inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement business plans
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, including a qualified accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA). They will also have experience of working in an SME or directly for an entrepreneurial MD. The candidate must be able to hit the ground running with the technical running of the finance function and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
