QA Scheme Support Services is an award-winning, well-established service company
based in Leyland operating in the home improvement sector. Our main function is to provide administration and operational support to 3 national consumer protection schemes (installer
membership schemes) operating in the double glazing, renewable, and home improvement sectors. The schemes protect consumers through the accreditation and validity of installer members. The schemes’ ambassador is George Clarke (Amazing Spaces etc). Employees of QA Scheme Support Services work on behalf of the consumer protection schemes.

Thethree schemes currently serviced by QA Scheme Support Services are:

- operates in the double-glazing sector;
- operates in the renewable sector;
- operates in the home improvement sector.

The schemes’ vision is transforming consumer protection within the home improvement sector. Their mission is to protect consumers when they are buying from installer members, support its national network of installer members and raise industry standards.

accredited members can benefit from a robust, Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) approved alternative dispute resolution service, thus ensuring they are protected at every step of their customer journey.

**Role Overview**

We are looking to expand our newly reformed Business Resilience team by adding a Financial Accreditation Officer. This role will be focused on supporting our new members by ensuring they meet the scheme requirements and are meeting their other accreditation obligations.
- Evaluating solvency and liquidity risk through data analysis and business insights, mitigating risks.
- Utilising different databases such as Company Houses to monitor and examine members.
- Investigating company portfolios.
- Understand and investigate Cross Company and Personal Director guarantees.
- Ensuring that new members, and our teams supporting them, understand the requirements of the schemes and are supported in meeting them.
- Highlighting and validating areas of concern, whilst facilitating timely and effective actions to address issues.
- Reviewing processes, practices, statements, and various forms of evidence and assessing their effectiveness and compliance with requirements.
- Communicating with Members, Colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and mutual understanding.
- The ability to analyse & interpret data
- The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
- Highly developed communication skills - written and verbal
- Organisation Skills - You should be organised in your approach, with the ability to assess what the priorities are and manage your time accordingly
- A methodical and logical approach
- Please note you must live within a 40 minute commute of our offices in Leyland, Lancashire
- Highly organised with the ability to manage own time
- Be able to prioritise workload and schedule effectively
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong people management skills
- Analytical and process-orientated person with attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
