Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineering Services Coordinator to assist the Technical Services Manager in overseeing the design and execution of capital projects. This role involves managing construction initiatives related to various facilities, including educational institutions, recreational centers, office spaces, and heritage sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a variety of capital projects, coordinating with both multi-disciplinary and single-discipline design teams to prepare contracts for new constructions, refurbishments, and renovations.
  • Serve as the Council's Technical Authority regarding Built Environment and Assets, developing and enforcing technical specifications, strategies, and standards to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant professional or academic qualification, or substantial experience that equips them with the necessary skills for the role of Structural Engineering Services Coordinator.
  • Proficient IT skills, with experience in software such as Microsoft Office, AutoDesk, NBS, and Tekla Tedds design tools.

Additional Information

Successful candidates must be able to travel independently to various locations, including construction sites. Physical capability to navigate scaffolding and similar structures during site visits is essential.

An additional Retention Payment is associated with this position, subject to annual review.
