Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at Dyer & Butler, responsible for the delivery of Highway Maintenance and Street Lighting services.

About the Role: As the Area Manager, you will be part of our operations team, responsible for managing Highway Maintenance and Street Lighting maintenance teams. Your duties will include:

  • Managing the winter service and emergency call out process
  • Leading the behavioural safety programme (It Starts With Me)
  • Ensuring area commercial performance meets forecast targets
  • Managing the depot working areas in line with company policies and procedures and sector regulations
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager on all aspects of the Area performance and undertaking delegated duties in line with contract management

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in highway maintenance and street lighting operations management
  • Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or equivalent
  • NRSWA or equivalent
  • CSCS card holder or equivalent
