Job Title: Area Manager

At Milestone Infrastructure, we are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our operations team. As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of Highway Maintenance and Street Lighting services in Peterborough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Highway Maintenance and Street Lighting maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Oversee the winter service and emergency call-out process to ensure minimal disruption to services.
  • Lead the contract's behavioural safety programme, promoting a culture of safety and well-being among team members.
  • Monitor and report on area commercial performance, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with Milestone's HS&E policies and procedures, as well as sector regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to report on area performance and undertake delegated duties.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in highway maintenance and street lighting operations management.
  • Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • NRSWA or equivalent certification.
  • CSCS card holder or equivalent.
