As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for providing an exemplary pharmacy service, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines, and leading a team of pharmacists and technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advice and support to consultants, other clinicians, and patients on the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team, providing excellent leadership and ensuring the team is motivated and effective.
- Advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments, ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards.
- Lead on quality improvement projects and audit within pharmacy, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Promote a patient-focused multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
- Be GPhC registered, with no restrictions or conditions on your registration.
- Have a minimum of 2 years' post-graduation experience in a hospital environment at ward level.
- Have experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for the service.
- Have experience of clinical leadership, including developing peers.
