About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark, or Edinburgh, Scotland.

Responsibilities

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and security of our conferencing systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test cases to ensure compliance with system requirements, interoperability, and user needs.
  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests for testing web-based applications, embedded products, or cloud services using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot test results to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes and tools.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A B.Sc. in engineering or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript and understanding of testing systems and software development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as GIT.
  • Experience with Atlassian toolset like JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge of testing tools such as PyTest, Selenium, and Cucumber for embedded and application layer testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
