About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our team in Eastleigh. As a Senior Web Developer, you will provide technical leadership and mentoring to IT Developers, while working on application builds that meet the requirements, design and build standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in building and architecting JavaScript applications, including extensive experience with React and Node.js. They will lead the technical build for Web Development teams and ensure that all developers understand the delivery requirements and approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical direction for development team solutions
  • Ensure development collaboration with Product Owner, Delivery Lead, Testers, UX/Design, Business Analysts and roles from other areas throughout Development projects
  • Support Principal Developer with reviewing development processes and collaborating with team members to identify and implement enhancements
  • Collaborate with Developers to identify and build new POC's and architectural decisions
  • Ensure developers adhere to and maintain Development standards and documentation
Requirements
  • 5+ years in JavaScript development
  • Skilled in React and Node.js for scalable apps
  • Strong unit testing proficiency
  • Proficient in build tools like Webpack, NPM, Docker
  • Familiar with Azure, Kubernetes
