Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Experienced Nurse Prescriber to join our team at Stenhouse Medical Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously to diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated medical and psychiatric conditions.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver independent, high-quality care, including prescribing and reviewing medication
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, including drug and non-drug based treatment methods
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in practice premises or their own home
- Refer patients to other members of the multidisciplinary team, secondary care organisations, and other organisations as necessary

We have strong links to our PCN and work collaboratively with other practices and the PCN staff. We maintain a high level of communication with the community teams and have a strong focus on clinical governance and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Registered Health Care Practitioner
- Recognised Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Experienced Nurse Prescriber at Masters level
- Independent Non-Medical Prescriber with the ability to prescribe a range of medications
