Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse or midwife to join our team as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Health Visitor. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children and families to promote their health and wellbeing.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Completing the SCPHN qualification in Health Visiting
  • Developing individualised support programmes for children and families
  • Completing universal health and wellbeing packages of care
  • Supporting the supervision and development of colleagues
  • Undertaking clinical and non-clinical interventions to support the outcomes of the service
  • Attending and contributing to team meetings
  • Building relationships with colleagues to enhance the team working environment

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC Pin
  • Evidence of relevant study at level 6
  • Minimum one year post registration experience
  • Multi-agency partnership working and caseload management experience
