A design-led lifestyle brand is seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to support the finance team in this maternity cover role.
Key Responsibilities:- Accounts Payable: Obtain approval of invoices from budget holders, post invoices, maintain organised filing of invoices, prepare weekly payment runs for review, submit payments to online banking for authorisation, post and allocate payments, ensure the purchase ledger is kept up to date, investigate any differences and ensure all balances are understood, maintain the AP inbox, proactively respond to internal and external queries, escalating where necessary
- Accounts Receivable: Post ecommerce and retail sales transactions, prepare wholesale invoices
- Banking: Post all bank, credit card and petty cash transactions, reconcile bank, credit card and petty cash
- 3+ year's experience in a similar role
- Competent user of Sage 200
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Multi-currency experience
- Strong attention to detail
- An organised approach
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
