Job Title: Environment Advisor
Are you an experienced environmental professional looking to grow your career in the field of environmental management?
This role could be an ideal opportunity for you to work with a specialist company involved in the enabling and groundworks stages of large infrastructure projects across the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the health, safety, and environment team in managing on-site environmental risks and impacts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinate and communicate environmental activities across the business, providing administrative assistance and technical support as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the HSEQ function to ensure effective management of environmental risks and impacts, and to maintain ISO standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar environmental role, with a strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent in an appropriate environmental discipline, and ideally hold (or working towards) a professional membership with a recognized environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM).
- Excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
