Investment Team Assistant

Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking a highly skilled Investment Team Assistant to join their successful Investment team. The role offers the opportunity to assist with the launch and ongoing management of all externally managed fund propositions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the selection, combination, appointment, and monitoring of mandates awarded to external managers in a consistent and rigorous manner.
  • Evaluate investment strategies and style combinations for externally managed sub-funds to achieve agreed investment outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with external managers and provide commentary on the strategy, performance, attribution, and risk of sub-funds.
  • Assist in the management of portfolios/sub-funds within investment guidelines and defined risk parameters.
  • Participate in investment team meetings and engage with research, responsible investment, and portfolio risk teams.
Requirements:
  • CFA Qualified and relevant experience in asset management, manager research, and oversight.
  • Strong understanding of asset classes and economic fundamentals.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and knowledge of portfolio management tools.
